Low NK cells

Hi and help! We’ve just received our first set of nk cell test results from Warwick and they have come back abnormally low. Has anyone had this and do you know what the treatment is? Thanks!

I have low nk cells, for my last transfer I had an intralipid drip a few days before, the clinic were not too concerned with my numbers just said it's better to be low then high. Intralipid seemed to work as I got my bfp, however, sadly ended in a chemical. Will be interested to know what your clinic make of your results as everyone knows the protocol for high nk cells but it's all very sketchy on low. Have googled to try and find out anything online but everything is about high not low.

Hi. Thanks so much for the response. I’m guessing you weren’t treated at Warwick? We’re on holiday at the moment but back on Friday so if they don’t respond to my email will call them. Will keep you posted.

No problem, it's really nice to be able to talk to someone else who has low nk cells. we're having treatment abroad and had all immunology tests at the clinic over there. Next week we're having alloimmune tests done to see if there's a problem there. The testing is never ending but we are so glad that they are being so thorough. All the very best with your journey and keep in touch x

Hey there. Just wanted to drop you a line. We’ve had a call with Prof Brosens about the results of my nk cells. He’s said that low is nothing to worry about and his advice to us is to just crack on with our next frozen cycle. One more person to tell us we’ve had horrendous luck but hey ho. Wanted to keep you in the loop.

Hello, Was just thinking about you the other day! it is very reassuring to know that prof Brosens has said the same thing as my clinic that having low nk cells is nothing to worry about, but also frustrating as there is just no rhyme or reason to this is there! We have just come back from clinic after having alloimmune tests. Got a long 30 day wait now until we know the results, hopefully all results will be okay and we can again look forward to the next transfer. How is your journey going? Thank you so much for replying X
