I have just called in to my clinic to report a BFN. I was surprised that the nurse said that I could go straight in to another cycle on this period. I mentioned that I thought advice was to wait for the next proper period but she said that was only really with fresh cycles. DH and I have said that this will be our last cycle as we can't afford another one and I can't keep thinking/wishing/hoping forever; at some point I need to accept and be happy for what I have. So I want to make this as perfect as I can. What have been the suggestions from other people's clinics about whether to wait in between FET cycles.
Thanks in advance xxxxx

Hi- I have no experience of this but didn't want to read and run. All I can think of is only you can decide when you are ready and I would want to make sure I put my mental and physical well being first to make sure I was in the best place to start treatment again and maybe even have time to look into any things to add in that may help. Best of luck with your decision and i' m sorry about your BFN. Take care xx
Hi drinathan. I always advise that you are best guided by your specialist. In my experience, most clinics wait until your next "normal" period and act on that. Good luck with whatever you both decide, and of course i hope for success. Diane
Hi. If you are to do this on a natural cycle, then it gives time for your own hormones to get back to "normal". If it is to be a medicated cycle, then the clinic can manipulate your hormones to suit, so you can go straight ahead. Hope that helps. Diane
