Allergy free folic acid?

Can anyone recommend a gluten/dairy/sugar/grain free folic acid in the U.K? Pulling my hair out trying to find one. Thank you 🙂

I have the same issue looking for allergy free supplements.

Can recommend solgar or doctors best brands

And folate is better than folic acid.

I agree folate is better than folic acid in terms of raising iron levels but is folate still better in terms of avoiding birth defects?

It seems they are both vitamin b9 but folate is the metabolically active version (so your body does not first have to convert it first from folic acid to folate ). I would think it’s better as it’s in the form your body can directly use.

I’m coeliac with a lot of digestive issues so I use the folate in case of absorption issues

I order all my vitamins from Natures Best on the recommendation of my acupuncturist. Looks like their folic acid tablets don’t have allergens...
