First injection done

Did my first injection tonight, feeling proud that it’s done and I managed it! Although know there’s still a long way to go! Did anyone else have itching and quite red around where injection had been done while down regulating?

I found the first one the worst! Yes sometimes it felt itchy like a little bite

They get much easier when you get used!

R u doing them in belly or top of leg??

I did top of leg and then the ones u do 1st thing in a morning i did in my belly they always stung x

I have to do them in my belly at around 6 o’clock, defo not as bad as I thought and can’t even see it now!x

Hey well done! Yes i had itching and it was quiet red around the area, but as a few days went on it was better also i noticed when the skin is already warm it doesn’t itch or go red but i dont know if thats just me. How are you getting on with your injections are you on buserelin? X

Yes on buserelin, getting used to doing it now! Don’t think i’ve Had any side effects although very tired this evening. Have you had any side effects?x

I didnt have anything at all to start with but im on day 20 today and ive noticed the last few days my mood has dropped dramatically and im having hot sweats on and off during the day and night but nothing too much. I feel like ive been on these injections far too long 😔 i have my scan tomorrow too see if i have down reg and hopefully will start stimms xx
