We're currently on our 3rd month with Clomid and I really thought this was going to be our month but two days ago what I thought was going to be AF started. Without going into too much detail, it hasn't come to anything. I usually have a day of old blood then a "proper flow" for a few days but there's still no proper flow, just old dark blood... I had been told previously by the nurse not to count day one unless there is "proper flow"... so the question is where do I go from here? I'm due to start the next round of Clomid on day 3, how do I know which day is day 3 or do I wait for a normal flow still? If a normal flow doesn't happen does that mean we are still in with a chance this month? (I'm clinging on to any hope at the moment!) Has anyone else had this before?
I'm sorry if this all seems stupid, I phoned my nurse 4 times yesterday and got no answer or call back so I'm thinking she might be on holiday or something as she usually calls right back so I am a bit lost right now.
Any help or guidance would be really appreciated 😊

Hey, I haven’t experience this before with clomid but I’ve always been told to wait for a full flow. If you just continue to spot I would wait until the ‘full flow’ arrives and then begin clomid. Sounds like you still could be in with a chance 🤞🏻xx
Since starting Clomid I've had 28 day cycles and today would be cd29. I thought implantation bleeding would be very light spotting and not dark and last for 3 days or more so I ruled it out but maybe I'm wrong to? Maybe I'll need to do a test, just didn't want to get my hopes up! xx
I am so glad you asked this question as I always get brown blood before I start my period and I’ve never known if I should count this as day 1 or is it when you have a proper flow?
I was always told day 1 was the day you wake up with proper flow but after 2 days of just brown blood I was worried that full flow wasn't coming this month! It's so hard to tell what day should be day 1 sometimes though, or at least I find it hard xx
