Hi

We are hopefully starting our second cycle mid July and have booked a holiday August 20th. If the treatment is successful and I was to get pregnant is it ok to fly?

Thanks

Definitely ok. Lots of people fly all the time for work and are fine. Also, loads of people - me included - are doing our treatment abroad so have to fly back.

Enjoy your holiday and good luck with it all xxx

Thank you for your quick response. I have been really down thinking about the possibility of no holiday. My social life is already getting me down with no alcohol, coffee and change of diet x

It is all worth it. And the holiday will be amazing xx

I flew back carrying two embryos in May. It’ll be just what you need and you mustn’t put your life on hold x

Yes, flying is ok and it will be good for you to go on holiday! I'm just back from a weeks holiday at 6 weeks pregnant and it was the best week ever - so relaxing and caught up on all the sleep that the little bean is stealing from me!! x

Yes it is, unless you are given medical advice otherwise. Short haul is better. Make sure you wear your flight socks- my midwife told me I had to wear them for the whole journey including car time and transfers not just the flight.
