My cycles are usually quite long and I’m very irregular since coming off the pill a couple years ago!! I think they do seem to be getting more frequent though. Going by my last cycle this was around 35 days. Does anyone know roughly when I will ovulate with a 35 day cycle?

I was the same... took quite a few years to settle but eventually dropped from a 35 day to a 32 day cycle for me.
There are calculators you can use online... these assume that you have a standard 14 day luteal phase (the period between ovulation and your period). You’ll not really be able to check this though, until you start testing / tracking ovulation with the tester kits.
So let’s assume you have a 14 day luteal phase.... count back 14 days from your next expected period, or count forwards 21 days from the first day of your period (35-14), to work out your ovulation day.
Personally I would work it out based on your shortest possible cycle length though, as the little egg only has 24 hours to be fertilised, so if you ovulate early you may miss it.
Hi kirstyblue. That's a long time to be waiting for your cycle to get back to a more realistic length. If you haven't spoken to your GP then perhaps a chat with him/her might not be a bad idea. You may just need something to kick start you into a more "normal" length of cycle. Good luck! Diane
