It's worth asking as you have a good reason must be hard enough emotionally working with babes while having your treatment hoping all goes well for you x

Maybe the clinic would be able might be better to ask them but if not try GP if they are understanding I will keep fingers X'd that you get the time off so you can relax a bit more stress is really not the best thing for you x

I did just because on the run up to it I was being scanned everyday to determine when I was ready, hard to juggle work and it took the pressure off x

I took a week off as annual leave after collection and took extra two days as sick leave as doctor advised no stress and I didn’t want to risk anything for first couple of days after transfer. After that though it was nice to go back to work for a bit of a distraction. Good luck xx

Thank you!! I’ve not much annual leave left after my last transfer so I’ll see what my consultant says xx

I had a bit of annual leave for my first transfer so I’ve not much left!! So I’ll ask my consultant and see what he says xx

Hi Lisa. My first clinic were adamant that I should have the 2ww off and they were going to give me a sick note (the clinic was part of the Royal Infirmary). We ended up swapping to a private clinic and they were quite clear that they wouldn't sign you off so I didn't take any time off except transfer day xx

Mine is part of the royal infirmary and I have been told I can have 2 weeks as well. I’m due to have my EC on Monday and I plan to have a week and a half off to give me some time after ET as well. I work in a reception class so I’m constantly on the move. My head knows what’s going on though which really helps. She is just telling the rest of the staff I have a big while I’m off. Xx

Thank you!! I won’t be having egg collection this time though as we’re using our frozen embryo!! I was offered it after my last ec but wondered if they would give it me this time!! I work in a nursery in the baby room so it’s so hard not to lift the crying babies!! I’m going to try everything this time after our chemical pregnancy last time xx
