2nd time lucky ?

Hi guys

I’m due to start a new cycle next month, this will be a ICSI cycle as 0 out of 15 eggs did not fertilise last time.

So fingers crossed

But what I’m confused about is that the medication seems different

I was on cetrodite and menopur last time, this time I have the menopur powder no cetrodite and something called Fyremadel.

I can’t even remember my last cycle,

Any tips girls ?

Sorry can't help with that. Just doing ICSI too but I had menopur.good luck!!

Looks like they have just given you a differently named drug instead of cetrotide which is to prevent ovulation. Dont really have any tips really, just wanted to wish you loads of luck especially after your horrible experience last time!Xx

Hi strong girl, hope your cycle is going well! I’ve just had my drugs for my third cycle and also been given fyremadel instead of cetrotide. I called the nhs clinic and seems that this is a change across the board. Did you notice any difference to cetrotide?

Hi I think the fyremadel is a generic version of cetrodite I liked it because the syringes were prefilled but I did get headache this time

Hope ur cycle goes well and u must bee very brave to be doing ur third cycle I’m on my second and it was hard xx

Thanks strong girl! The less faff with needles the better. Cycle 3 feels like Groundhog Day to be honest. Ho hum. Let’s see what happens. Hope it’s your lucky time x

I had all those medicines - I think cetrotide is the same as one of them - I was on a cetrotide cycle but these arrived too.....think it is just another version of it. That is what they said to me....

It is all a blur now TBH....
