Anyone else have problems with these needles? Twice I’ve had to change the needle for my buserelin because the plunger will not go down or it goes down at the pace of a snail 😑 it’s just taken me half an hour to do one injection and ended up lying down cause it made me feel queasy. I have an appointment tomorrow and I did mention it Friday but they didn’t seem bothered πŸ˜• am I the only one who’s finding it difficult 😫😫😩😩

I’ve never had this problem with buserelin needles, but mine didn’t look exactly like this, they had a little orange cap. Maybe you could get some different ones from a pharmacy?

I did my first one with the nurse and she told me to pull the plunger down and push air into the vial before drawing up the liquid which definitely helped and made it much quicker to draw up? Xx

They just gave me new needles, the same ones though so I pushed the plunger in and out a good couple of times just now before injecting. Doing my 2nd injection now so hopefully just 10 more days of doing this and I’ll be ready for the next hurdle. Thank you for asking how it went. Means a lot xxx

If these needles are still playing up, see if you can get different ones (I.e. through GP or pharmacy). They are just standard insulin needles, so are pretty common. Fingers crossed you don’t need to mind! 🀞🏼 J x

Hopefully I just got 9 days left of injecting so I can put up with it for that long πŸ€žπŸ»πŸ™πŸ» x
