Cyst on ovary causing pain & two gestational sacs

I had to go to the early pregnancy unit at the hospital today but ’m back home now !

my right ovary is quite large and I have a big cyst on it . This is causing me the pain. I need to rest as much as I can. I need to go back next Friday .

It’s too early to see a heartbeat.. but they saw TWO gestational sacs ! So it’s v likely .. both embryos made themselves a home .

Anyone got any experience with a cyst ? Anything I can do to get it smaller ?

Hi Silvanti. Yes the same happened to me - it was my 6 week scan and I had to go back at 7 weeks to check the cyst has reduced in size. Thankfully it did and we discovered two heartbeats. I hope the same happens with you, I still have cramps and the odd twinge but thankfully nothing to worry about

Awwww this is so helpful! How far along are you now ? Manu said twins as HCG on 9DP5DT was 369 and on day 13 it was 1489 ! The pain can be really sharp though ! Frustrating though as I want to do so much but rather rest !

I am now 8 weeks and 3 days. We are just so thrilled but still a bit anxious as I have miscarried previously. I would definitely reccomend taking it easy - I really did and felt a little guilty but I think it’s worth it as things seem to be ok - we saw two heartbeats at our scan on Tuesday. Thank you . I’ll go back Friday! They were so friendly ! I’m sure I’ll have to go back after so they can assure all is good ! The nurse was saying - oh we can’t scan to see anything! The doctor however says ! Shall we have look how well this pregnancy is going ! ❤️
