As you may know, our journey hit a bit of a hiccup in February when no eggs fertilised and Mr Emu’s sperm was put to question. Some drugs to make it better and a lot more of taking matters in to his own hands meant that this morning on producing his sample, while a kind lady was elsewhere giving us her eggs, the lab report was that it was ‘good quality sperm’.
“Thank god for that” said Mr Emu. “I don’t think I could do it again.
“1: because I’ve done it for 7 days straight; 2: the pressure of delivering and 3!”
Mr Emu looked rather flustered and lowered his voice...
“The DVD! The DVD that was playing was An*l Abuse Two!”
Beads of sweat were dripping down his forehead. So much so he didn’t even bat an eyelid at paying for this round in the payment room.
Clearly abusive DVD’s are not his cup of tea and he’ll be drinking a large beer today to recover.
Step 1 in Cyprus - done.
It’s always nice to be reminded that this journey has moments of stress for you both! Now, to the beach with my wonky ankle and a relieved Mr Emu.

Abusive DVD?!! 🤪 My husband had a Nuts magazine, he didn't bother looking at it.. Think he was disappointed lol. Good news that his sperm was good though 😀
Lol. I think every bloke who has to do this has a funny experience. My oh had rassle, pretty tame next to what Mr Emu got by the sounds of it! We joked about the poor person who has to go out and purchase this stuff.
Glad all went well though. You have to laugh or you’ll spend the whole time crying.
It must be so hard that you have one go and if there’s a problem everything else has been a waste of time. My oh was worried about getting it into the pot!!!
Sounds like us ladies actually have quite an easy time of it, what’s a few drugs, injections and crazy hormones compared to being subjected to those “choice” DVDs!! I hope the beach, a cool beer and some sunbathing relieves this morning’s trauma for him!! You’ve gotta see the funny side though 🤣

Great news about the sperm sample being good quality and yet another funny story about your journey...my OH missed the sample container and was completely ashamed of himself 😂 x
Well he had to do a clean up in the little room and then confessed to the nurse who told him that it happens a lot...I’m sure that was a lie to make him feel better 😂
He just got sent home to do another sample that he had to deliver himself to the clinic. That was in the early days before we realised he didn’t make any sperm. If you don’t laugh about these things then you’d cry right!
Lol they didn’t give him options? It was straight to that?? Wow. My husband had nothing. Or so he said... hehe I hope his poor brain and eyes are recovering!! Hope you get some quality swimmers!! 🏊♂️❤️😘😘
