I had a pelvic scan yesterday in preparation for my second round of ivf abroad. They counted only 4 folicals whereas last year they counted 9. Scan was performed on day 1 of my cycle. Feeling a little low because I was hoping they see more folicals that 4. I have endometriosis and last year I had a 6.6 AMH level. I’m now waiting for the clinic to get back to me and advise on protocol. Just feeling frustrated and disappointed in my body and my useless ovaries. I try to be positive but I hear about babies everywhere. So many people I know are having babies and most of them seem to have got pregnant by accident as they insensitively tell me. I’m just stressed and fed up with life

There's hope, and always a way.. just try to get through this bit, gather your strength and intactness when you can, and look at all possibilities as you go forward.
Im 46 with 2 follicles and an AMH of 1. Against all odds, im not giving up, and am currently starting again from the beginning going theough a detox and getting my body as healthy as possible. Theres always other options, including PRP treatment, but that is still very experimental.
With 4 follicles, youve still got a good chance, providing all has been thoroughly checked for the health of your uterine lining, and ensuring there has been no bacterial infections (which can be treated if you know about it).
Those who havent been through it or similar circumstance cant really understand in depth the pain and emotional upheavals of those going through this infertility journey.
Pss. I'm also seeing an excellent fertility specialist in Athens, called Serum.
Have you thought about acupuncture. My daughter always produced only 4 or 5 follicles, once only 2. This last round she has had acupuncture for 4 months and produced 12 xx
