Clomid 😱 Help

Hi,

I’m seeking help with clomid. As the side effects arnt nice I want to ensure I give us the best chance I can of conceiving.

I’ve read so many different things on line which is making me worry even more.

I’ve not had a lot of input from our consultant apart from take clomid days 2-6 and she will see us end of may to discuss my partners second sperm analysis. I’ve read online u shouldn’t take ovulation sticks as you’ve so many hormones it won’t give a good positive. I’m having a break down and can’t seem to relax at the thought of missing this blood ovulation which also isn’t helping. Some sites say you’ll ovulate from 7-10 days after ur last pill.

Just wondering if anyone has used clomid and when did u ovulate, might not help as I know we’re all different any way but feeling rubbish and helpless.

Thanks 💖

The side effects are terrible! They gave me flashy vision and migraines! I did ovulate on day 14 all 3 times!

Thankyou for your reply,

I’m struggling with being emotional and tired. Specially my breast. I must be getting ready to ovulate as there extremely uncomfortable now and I’ve been getting some u comfortable pains.

Was ur outcome good on clomid?

Also did u have scans? We’ve been given nothing, just clomid and take them days 2-6. We go back to see the consultant in may to discuss my other half’s results xx

Yes, I had 2 scans. Day 12 and 14 the day of iui. I didn’t get pregnant. Turns out that although my tubes looked clear and normal, they have structural deformities. Found that out when they were removing abdominal scar tissue 6 years later!

Omg! That’s along time after isn’t it.

I’ve seen the IUI I’m asking the consultant about this in may when we go to see what she says.

Manchester fertility do it for £795 it’s nothing if we got pregnant but if we didn’t then it would be a lot of money.

Thankyou for ur responses I just don’t know how we’re all so strong to get through it all xx

Hi, I did a lot of Clomid cycles. We were told I was likely to ovulate between days 11-15, but on the last two cycles I used Clearblue ovulation kits and I actually ovulated day 18. If you are going to test for ovulation use Clearblue because they give the clearest answer, just be mindful it might not always detect ovulation because of the drug.

I also suffered the ‘clomid crazies’ on the first few cycles. Just try to be aware of it and take care of yourself x
