Pregnancy test

Hi All!

My paper work states that if we have a successful transfer you have to wait 16 days after egg collection before you test.....will I really have to wait that long to test or can it be done earlier? Xx

Hey yea went really well!!! The team were lovely and OH was with me most of the time except for the actual room. I was knocked out and didn’t wake up till recovery and haven’t passed any blood. I’m ok today but do have belly ache and a little discomfort. When I went in I thought I only had 8 follicles that were ready but I ended up with 11 mature eggs, 7 have fertilised, 3 haven’t done anything but they are still watching them as they still might. I have a call sat morning to tell us if we go in that day or Monday. How are you feeling today? X

Oh that is brilliant! I was the same as you, completely out of it! I did wake up a for a second but went straight back out again! Very mild cramping and no bleeding so all good! I was exhausted yesterday though and still feel it today but I was tired from the meds too so I'm guessing they take a while to get out of your system. Well done on your numbers too - so far so promising! X

Same here with the meds by the afternoon I was ready for a nap! Hope this discomfort in stomach eases off soon it is prob a combination of procedure, pessaries and the injections last week. I’m off work tomorrow and relieved as think I need longer. So please yours went well too! Once we transfer the waiting for testing is going to feel like torture but will all be worth it if positive. X

How have the pessaries been? I start mine tomorrow. More glamour! Oh goodness, I can't even bring myself to think about the 2ww! I've saturated to write down list of things I want to do to keep myself busy! I hope you can get some rest on your day off tomorrow xx

Ok a little odd. I worried if I was doing them right etc lol but you just gotta go with it and wear a liner. I’m working most of my 2ww but have booked random days off during it so it’s not the whole time and I ordered one of those badges that say please give me a seat! Last year we booked Noel galergher can’t spell tickets for end of this month - it falls potentially on test day! and a best friends due date!! 😂 hope your phone call goes well today xx

Mine is 14 days from transfer so in this case, 19 days from ec as it was a 5 day blast transferred xx

I think it’s to make sure you get a true positive rather than a chemical or false positive. My clinic paperwork said 16 days too but it was actually 13 days after ET.
