Hi all hope everyone is ok.

As the title suggests what’s is everyone’s opinion about this?

Any opinions would be helpful, apologies if this has already come up previously

Many thanks

Xx

Hey, what sort of dancing and how often? Do you dance normally? X

I actually thought you might be a dancer. Knowing what you were actually referring to my original comment is funny :D x

I went out on a girls night out during my 2ww, put my heels on for the first time all year, and danced to three or four songs at a time then sat down for a rest inbetween. I didn’t do any “strenuous” moves!! If that’s the kind of dancing you mean then I’m sure you’ll be fine if you’re sensible.

Oh no 🤦🏼‍♀️ my apologies

I meant “dancing” (💏) not dancing 💃🏽

I wrote this late last night when I was tored and realised I forgot the apostrophes 🤦🏼‍♀️

I will bear the advice in mind though 😛

I don’t think it’s recommended. I was never directly told not to but I’d read the contractions from “enjoying yourself” can perhaps affect implantation. Not sure how much of a risk that really is, I mean people who fall naturally don’t worry about this as they are happily dancing all month long oblivious! But I think also the risk of infection that goes along with the fact there’s been certain procedures under IVF also makes it riskier. I personally do avoid it. I’m sure your clinic would keep you right if you wanted to check xx

😂😂 This made me laugh! I don’t know the answer but we are refraining from any ‘dancing’ just in case xx

Ha ha! My clinic specifically says no sex for the 2ww (they put this in writing but the nurse also said it very pointedly to my hubbie!) even after a frozen transfer!

I thought you literally meant dancing, as I've never heard of sex referred to in this way - maybe it's a regional thing :) ? All the advice I've ever come across is to refrain from 'dancing' whilst in the 2WW - in fact, my partner and I were advised by our clinic to wait until the 12 week scan, so we've forgotten what it's like to dance! Good luck and big hugs in your 2WW xx

Hi Charlie

The term I found was BD which is baby dancing, so that’s what’s I’ve always referred to it as, especially as some don’t like to call it what it is although to be honest we’re all so vocal with each other I probably should have just wrote it lol 😂

Thankful for all the advice anyway xx

I was just planning my next transfer for next week a few weeks ago and my bloods for my thyroid & prolactin are too high so I've been started on meds for underactive thyroid. Just have to wait until my levels are normal (which can take time) before I can plan which is mega frustrating!! I just need to be patient, something I'm not very good at!!😩xx
