A bit if a TMI but how do you deal with the constipation in the 2ww? The last 3-4 days have been a nightmare. Especially for someone who has always been regular, I've tried warm drinks, lots of fruits, veggies and whatever else I could think of but nothing seems to help ππππππ

Ahh how uncomfortable π are you still resting? I'd say light walking and lots of water. If it gets really bad you can find a video on YouTube of Osteo bowel massage. It kind of stimulates this area and has been helpful to me in the past. But speak to your Dr first to see if it's safe to do xxx
No more resting π I did rest for 3 days but now I do daily long walks along the seafront and in the mountain π€ I'll try some dry plums and warm water let's see. If this doesn't help will ask doc π€β€οΈ How's everything with you? Xx
My sis in law was nice to me today to offer me a half a cup of coffee cause she knows how much I love coffee hahahaha luckily the other one was t here to see it π I'm glad you are good β€οΈπ€ππβ€οΈ
Hello, try fybogel or lactulose- both are fine during pregnancy (I used fybogel to help me!) but also walking and lots of water (which sounds like youβre doing already!) unfortunately the drugs donβt help regularity xx
There is a relief after transfer definitely cause you know it's done and the first couple of days after that are fine. But I always find the time after day 4 extremely frustrating π with my previous transfers I've always started testing from day 4 lol and I've tested 2-3 times a day each time, it drove me crazy! This time 7dpt and I'm still holding myself and I didn't cave in πππππ π π Thank you for the well wishes π Same goes to you too xxz
Oh wow that's a lot of testing π so true about how difficult it gets from day 4. I hate testing so even though I'm tempted I never do it until OTD lol because either way I would second guess the result and make myself loopyπ€ͺ really well done for not testing so farπͺ I'm looking forward to Monday now tooπ hope you get the result the same day x
Well done for not testing until OTD! I admire your strength! I'm sure I'll give in in one of the next few days π π π π π Results are normally ready within 2 hours so won't be a long wait πππ€π»π
Hope youβre doing well! I think I tried calfig but throughout pregnancy when able to Iβve been having porridge and adding flaxseed to it. It kept me regular too but now in the final phase Iβm also suffering badly with it again despite the porridge. Prunes sound good.
I'm well thank you, looking forward to OTD on Monday π€π€π₯°π I got some dried plums let's hope they do the trick XXX How's everything with you? Hope is all going well π€π€π€π₯°β€οΈ
Yep! Hopefully they do. I have everything crossed for you for Monday! π€π€I think all is well with me. Iβve had various glucose occurring in urine but none in actual GD blood tests - last week they detected it but today none in urine - and scan seems fine but Iβve still got to go and do home testing for two weeks in caseβ¦ which Iβm not sure is worth it as Iβll be at term next week when I start it. Hope itβs just one of those things. π€π€
PAPAYA!! Nice, ripe papaya has fiber, of course, but also has enzymes that can break down other food - they use it to tenderize meat here in Brazil. My in-laws all suffer from 'slow' intestine and swear by eating a half a papaya for breakfast every day.Apparently warm milk is also good. Good luck hon, hope the next few days fly past until you can test xxx
I've tried some warm milk, now some dried plums if this doesn't work will definitely try the papaya π₯° Monday can't come fast enough, my hands are itching to open the drawer with the tests but I've promised hubby and doc that I'll wait until OTD and will only do the blood test in the clinic ππππ How are you? Hope you are okay xx
Hi I got the exact same thing badly constipated and got really scared when I saw blood when I wiped. For me this continued well after the BFP. My clinic did prescribe something il have to go back and check the name but ended up not using it and drank lots of water. Hoping you get the best outcome and any discomfort you having now is worth it
This was (and still is π₯΄) a huge problem for me too! Warm water with lemon first thing in the morning (before food) can kick start your digestive system. Worth a try! xxx
I was the same after my first EC. 5 days, my tummy looked like 6 weeks pregnant and the only thing that helped was Senakot. I'll try some natural remedies first and then see what they've got in the pharmacies here π
First of all, fingers crossed for a BFP!!!! Secondly, if you do get pregnant, this will only get worse so take it seriously. I sort of ignored it and did the whole fibre, prune, walking, water thing but nothing really worked so I trooped on pooping once every 3 days or so then had grade 4 hemorrhoids during the birth. Dealing with that was a million times worse than c section scar. Start taking stool softeners regularly (both sachets and liquid) as soon as things clog up properly in pregnancy. Not to scare you, the medication works, just raising awareness as I don't want anyone to go through what I did. X
Thank you ever so much! I'm not in UK as I used a clinic abroad and doc doesn't recommend anything just natural remedies for now πππ if all goes well I'm back to UK next Saturday and will straight away get myself some Lactulosr and Movicol π€πππππππ»π»xx
