Who had a successful first round of ivf????

Ivf success
Hi, I’m doing it on my own aged 38 using donor sperm. I have PCOS and struggled to pregnant when I was in relationship so decided to do it on my own.
Had a great clinic, and did everything I could improve my chances - diet, yoga, meditation, no alcohol (don’t drink anyway), acupuncture, endo scratch and the embryo incubator.
IVF was successful producing 19 eggs, 14 fertilised, 9 made it to day 5 and 1 transferred. Currently 7.5 weeks pregnant.
Still can’t believe it worked but it has and feel blessed that it worked as I could only afford one round.
Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any more questions if you need to.

Oh wow that’s brilliant it’s worked first time for you!!
I have a child already who is 14! All is fine with me but it’s my partner who has enough sperm but with low motility so they’ve said ivf is the only option to have a baby!!!
We started the joinery last year and now we’re here!!!!
It’s all very exciting but scary too!
Good luck with the rest of your journey and congratulations xx
I did but unfortunately had a missed miscarriage. I went on to my second round and now have a baby girl x
Thank you for replying!! Congratulations glad it all worked out in the end for you!!! Xx
We were lucky that our first round of IVF with ICSI worked first time. We only had one strong embryo left which was transferred on day 5 after only retrieving 3 eggs. It was a pretty stressful 2 week wait but currently 15 weeks pregnant and all looking ok so far x
That’s brilliant, it’s good to hear First success stories!!!
I’m not getting my hopes up too much incase it doesn’t work first time!!!
But fingers crossed it does!!
Congratulations and good luck with the rest of your journey xx
I did. I sadly went on to have a mmc but currently pregnant from our 3rd round (first frozen)
I'm at 7 weeks after first round of icsi with twins! X
Yep I was lucky enough to be successful first time. Had icsi, mainly due to male factor infertility. Currently 32 weeks pregnant.
Good luck if you go ahead with IVF 😊
I was too. My little boy will be 2 in 7 weeks time (how time flies!). He was the strongest out of 4 embies that made it to blasto stage.
Unfortunately we’ve had 2 FETs since to try and give him a sibling and one resulted in a CP and 1 resulted in a BFN. We have our next round booked in May/June and hoping our last frostie will be successful.
