How can you decide on a donor wth such little information?

Hello lovely ladies, can anyone help me, I'm registered with an egg donor bank and they have such little information about the wonderdul women who have donated their eggs, I don't know how I'm supposed to decide who to choose?

It's such a big decision !

Goodness, clinics certainly vary! My clinic in Hampshire has a donor co-ordinator who does all the matching process. She matched me (based on eye/hair colour, height, etc). I certainly didn't get to choose but I had the option to decline her, without having to give a reason. I feel I have quite a lot of info. on my donor that I don't wish to post here but I can pass onto my child, and my child will have the choice to trace her when they are an adult.

At the start of the process (de being the most difficult decision in my life) I actually felt jealous of the donor (because I had so wanted my own DNA) but now I just feel so thankful to her. She didn't have to donate and she doesn't know me. I'm due in March.

Hello there! I think they provide only the necessary information. Most clinics help you with the decision. For some, the decision is totally is yours. Go through the provided information systematically. And then choose the best one according to whatever little info provided. And that is also right that you shouldn't ignore your gut feelings.
