Aw beautiful!! Congratulations 💖 Just out of interest what was the reason for a c section at 35wks? Did u go into labour 1st?! I'm 35+4 now and have gestational diabetes...I find out my induction date a week Tuesday but hoping to go into labour naturally! Xx
Hiya aww thank you congratulations on your pregnancy do you know what you are having? No I didn’t I have type one diabetes diagnosed at 14 insulin injections dependent. Due to this was having 2 weekly growth scans and her growth had slightly dropped off the chart they where worried that the placenta was not working as it should as this is very common in women with diabetes I was also having a lot of low blood sugars and slight reduced movement so my consultant thought best out! How are you managing your diabetes it’s really tough in pregnancy and all the time tbh! Xxx
We're having a little boy! 😍 I thought it might be something to do with diabetes. I got diagnosed at 22wks pregnant after they found glucose in my wee at a routine test. They sent me for gtt, got a positive result & that was that! Had to overhaul my diet completely but luckily this has meant I've been able to stay diet controlled...although insulin wouldn't have bothered me after ivf! I've been having growth scans every 2-3wks and have an awesome team of nurses/consultants/midwives behind me. It's not been easy on the food front at all...was looking forward to eating what I wanted following ivf, and instead ended up on an even stricter diet! And the worry of causing harm to baby has sometimes been nearly too much to bear! Thankfully I can say he's doing fine and they'e letting me go to 40+6 if my sugars remain under control with diet....and he's measuring along the 50th percentile so I can see my hard work paying off...didnt even have a single treat at xmas! Not the straight forward pregnancy I was hoping for but nearly there now...cant wait to meet him properly! Xx
Amazing she is beautiful, enjoy every min of your precious girl xx💕💋💋
Ahhh congratulations 💙 it’s so common and really good that can be controlled by diet. Haha no a tiny insulin pen needle is nothing compared to IVF 😂. That’s so good you are getting such good care and lots of scan if they hadn’t been scanning me so often they would have never picked up the changes and and who knows what could have happened. That all sounds very positive im so pleased for you - the latest they ever let a type one diabetic carry to is 38 weeks. Will they induce you at the gestation or let you go naturally? Eeeeek yes not long now xxx
