BFN again 😢 1 FET left

Hi folks

Came on period today 8dp5dt. So so so fed up now. After being overstimulated, OHSS, getting 8 grade 5 embies, 4 not thawing, 3 bfn’s and just one to go. Feel like this whole round has been scuppered from the beginning. All been natural FET’s so far. Wondeting whether to try accupunctute, scratch, medicated with my last embie but then theres always a worry that it wont thaw. Or just try naturally one last time and try all that on next round? So much to think about!

Good luck to everyone going through this!

So sorry to read this, BFN’s are devastating. I’m the other way round to you I’ve had all medicated FETs with no success and now trying to decide whether it’ll be worth risking a natural FET. Hopefully in time you can decide what’s right for you but for now just re build your strength xx

Thanks! The natural FET is so straight forward, I’ve considered going for the medicated just to try something different. I think its worth the risk if the hosp are happy that you ovulate, have regular periods etc. I’m sure you know all this. We become experts dont we! Good luck to you x

We sure do, the ovulation is my biggest problem but we’ll see. Thank you, hope you get some answers from the hospital x

Hi Slewi. Probably not a bad idea to go with a medicated FET just for that extra support. Hopefully, you won't need to, but if you have to go for fresh again, then maybe one or two of the add ons then. Thinking of you. Diane

Oh no I’m so sorry to hear this! I’m thinking of you. Maybe it would be worth trying the medicated route as it is something different. When do you go to the hospital next? Use the time to build your strength both body and mentally. Xxxx

I am so very sorry to hear this. I’m not really familiar with the diff between natural or medicated FET but perhaps whichever of those you go for you might consider adding in some acupuncture and having the endometrial scratch. My thinking on them both was why not? It can’t do any harm to give them a try. Wishing you luck as you come to a decision regarding your next step 😘 xx

I would try a scratch and medicated fet, or at least a natural modified fet. Throw everything you have at this one. Sorry for your bfn xx

Thanks you lovely ladies. Its up to me when I next go in. Maybe take a month off but kinda think I should try this last embie asap then look to round 2 if thats the case! X

I would recommend scratch and the medicated round for your last embi. Don’t feel down it only takes one to stick :). Xx
