I’m having quite uncomfortable cramps on my left side it feels like a tearing pain. I rang the hospital two days ago and they said, it’s just everything settling down after my egg transfer. But I still have it!
Is this a good sign or do you think I should call again? As some of you know this is my first round of ivf I’m a little worried 😟

I’m sure you are worried, this whole process is so daunting. It is normal to feel sore, crampy and have funny twinges and pains as a result of the procedures involved and the medication you are taking. You could take paracetamol for the pain but you’re meant to avoid ibuprofen. If your symptoms persist don’t hesitate to call your clinic again, that’s what they’re there for. Hoping all will be well for you xx
It’s just a dull ache and there if that makes sense lol, this is all very daunting I’m just hoping I don’t get my period. I feel like I am as I’m due I’m 5 days ☹️fingers crossed it don’t come xx
Hi Ker1. Sorry to hear this. However, it probably just down to settling down after the procedure, there is a lot of pushing goes on. It could also be that your one ovary is still a bit active, so make sure you drink plenty of water. Take some paracetamol for the pain, unless something else has been prescribed. No anti-inflammatories such as ibuprofen. Hope all soon feels better. Diane
I wee a lot and it’s very pale, so I’m ok there this 2ww Is taking a long time to come around lol, when would you think I would start to get implantation pain? X

Hi Ker1. I'm afraid I believe that implantation pain is a bit of a myth - why should you get pain?? If your little embie is happy he/she will just snuggle down and grow! Diane
