Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all having a good week and a great start to the weekend! This may sound like a random question... Has anyone had an abnormally early long period whilst taking Clomid? I was prescribed Clomid to try and prevent an early bleed / spotting for suspected implantation issues and unforunately overstimulated. Then period starts 5 days early and no sign of it stopping. Hoping it's either just my body adjusting to the meds or a reaction because of being overstimulated and next cycle will be better xxx

Hi Poppy, I can’t answer your question just wanted to say sorry your having such a tough time with clomid. I have quite long periods anyway so I guess I always just thought it was normal not linked to the clomid, hope yours stops soon and this cycle is more success xx

Thanks lovely, just thought i'd throw the question out there. I'm hoping it's just my body adjusting but feeling as i started to bleed so soon it's not had the desired effect. Headaches this week have been horrendous. How are you doing? Xxx

Hopefully someone will be able to help. That’s not good, I struggle with headaches even more than normal during treatment - are you drinking enough water?

I’m okay thanks, still waiting 🙄 xx

Waiting is so very hard and I really feel for you. Wishing you lots of luck, I have everything crossed for you. Keep strong and keep busy.

Trying too, i always keep a big bottle of water on my desk at work. I have a history of migraines anyway so quite prone to headaches. Got my scan Friday next week so will be bringing a list of questions with me (poor nursing and medical staff, feel like I keep bombarding them with questions when I go!) I think i'm finding it hard to rationalise why my body is having these issues when i am so healthy, really doesn't make sense to me xxx

Thank you!

Oh okay the medication is probably making it worse then, they’ll be glad your asking. My clinic much rather I ask that just torment myself wondering. Totally understand that feeling, I’ve always had normal periods - every month they came on time so never dreamt I’d have fertility issues, turns out I have anovulatory periods 😫our bodies never do as we want them to. Hang in there xx
