Worst news confirmed 😔

Been for a 7 week scan this morning, to be told there was no heartbeat and no sign of growth since my scan last week.

Although it was the news we expected, as I have been bleeding for the past week it’s really hard to comprehend that it’s all over.

We have to go to our early pregnancy unit tomorrow so they can help move things along, I can’t handle waiting for it to all happen naturally as this past week has been torturous.

I’m absolutely devastated.

I’m going to come off the site for a while whilst I try and come to terms with what has happened.

I’m so sorry to read this, no matter how much you think your expecting the news nothing stops the heartache.

The EPU will be able to advise your next steps but if you are struggling with the additionally waiting maybe a D&C would be the way forward for you. We’re all here if you need to talk, thinking of you xx

My heart goes out to you, having just gone through it myself. Its such a horrible thing for anyone to go through but even more when its been a hard battle to conceive in the first place.
