So tomorrow I will meet my midwife for the first time! It’s making my pregnancy more real now. This Christmas will be our last as a family of 2 as next year we will be a family of 3 after so long of ttc. It’s exciting to think what the next 12 months will bring for me and my fiancé after such an up and down year this year. This year has had it’s challenges going through the IVF but as I look back and reflect this year I’ve realised how far I’ve truly come this year. I lost 7 stone in weight in order to qualify for IVF to begin with and I’ve seen my confidence grow. And after 5 years with my partner he eventually asked me to marry him. And we have finally set a date for a couple of years time and my dream of having a child is getting closer and closer each day until we meet our little bundle of joy. For those who are struggling to conceive there is always light at the end of the tunnel. And it has it’s highs and it’s lows. I truly understand the struggle. Merry Christmas and everyone and all the best for 2018.

Good luck! As others say lots of forms and bloods and a urine sample at this appointment. Mines just went over my medical history and family medical history and things like that. You’ll also get your little info pack which has some books etc 🙂 xxx
