Egg collection on Wednesday

Hi all. I’ve got egg collection on Wednesday a little nervous. Any advice? Also anyone with pcos got any advice on healthy diets to try? Started to worry a bit about diabetes so really need to watch my weight and sugar intake. Xx

Good luck for Wednesday it's totally normal to feel nervous but you are in great hands once you come around it's like you have had a really nice snooze! I would advise if possible to take a few days off days off work as can be bit sore in lower tummy paracetamol does the job 😊I don't have advise on pcos but I am a type one diabetic have been for 13 years I try to follow low ish carb diet no fizzy drinks sweets etc plenty of meat veg and fish have they told you you are at risk then if they have this is most likely type 2 x x x

Thank you for your reply. Really appreciate it. They have said I’m more at risk during pregnancy. Will really try to be healthy and eat more veg. Oh I haven’t took any time off for after egg collection I’ve took it after transfer. Hopefully won’t be suffering to much 😬 xx

Yeah that's the same as anyone gestational diabetes usually only shows in third trimester you are at no higher risk than any other women. You should be fine I only took it cause I had holiday! Xx
