This is my first round of IVF, I'm 3 days into my Buserelin injections and feel awful: can't eat, nauseous, banging headache and dizzy spells. I've had paracetamol but wondered if anyone had any advice for the nausea? And does it get any better? Really worries about going to work if it stays like this. Thank you xx

I really struggled on Burselin too. Try not eating sugar. Drink peppermint tea and lots of water. To be honest, it was bad until I started stimming. Then it got better. I feel for you. It is horrible! x
You poor thing. I didn’t do well on buserelin either, it’s horrible stuff. I had terrible headaches, dizziness and nausea. For my last two ivf cycles I had a one off injection to down-regulate instead, think it was called prostap.
I drank lots and lots of water and drank peppermint tea to help with buserelin side effects.
Hi, poor thing... this drug is awful. I experienced the same side effects. I had to take some time off work too. Talk to your clinic they might allow you to take a stronger medication for the headaches.
I took some peppermint tea and also infused some pieces of ginger in hot water. Then frank the water.
The symptoms will disappear once you start stimulation’s. Good luck. Take care x
