Weird pulling feeling/contraction

Hi everyone

I am in the middle to end of my 2ww wait and will test Tuesday. Each time I have come to the end of an unsuccessful cycle I have this weird pulling sensation in my womb area, it's really hard to explain but it is almost like the kind of feeling you get when you have a kidney infection and you think you need the loo but then you try to go and can't - sorry - not sure how else to explain it. It seems to come on if I have a hot water bottle on my tummy and mostly when I am lying in bed at night. I have read about uterine contractions but these ones are not actually painful but when I feel them I always get my period soon after. In my normal cycle they don't come every month but once or twice my period was late and then they came and then along came the period.

I haven't had them this cycle yet but just thought it they rang a bell with anyone I would know this time and not panic as much...

Thanks for any advice you can offer

Sending happy sunny seaside vibes to you all

I can't offer much advice as I've never had that but you mentioned having a bit water bottle on your tummy. I don't know if you mean in the 2ww or bit but if you do need hear then put the bottle on your back as you shouldn't have too much heat on your tummy as the moment! Good luck with testing!xx

I would avoid heat on the tummy area during the 2ww. Best of luck this go! 🤞🏻🙏🏻

I did feel cramps and stretches when I had a BFP as well as in some the AF when I wasn't even TTC. Many women say they feel cramps throughout the gestation so it's kind of normal I guess. You can't really differentiate between symptoms of AF and early pregnancy. Chances are if you've had that same feeling it could be the pregnancy as well. Just don't think about negative outcome yet and do not use hot compress either. Hope things work out well for you. Sending baby dust! :)

I asked my nurse about the hot water bottle, as it's the main thing I use for pain. She said not to use it at all on my tummy after transfer. But fine on my feet if I want too. She said we don't want to have "boiled eggs" 🥚😂. Good luck with the rest of your 2ww. I'm just at the end of mine now. Xx
