Experience of Clomid?

Hi all,

After so long of feeling so negative, with my unicornuate uterus and one Fallopian tube, after a meeting with our consultant this morning, he has prescribed me Clomid to help ovulation. What are your experiences of this treatment?

I tried clomid but it was unsuccessful for me, my main side affects were hot flushes, night sweats, headaches and mood swings - not telling you to put you off just to give you an idea as not everyone gets them. I’ve also got friends that have gone on to have children through clomid so for some women it really does work. Good luck x

I was on clomid for 3 cycles but sadly it was unsuccessful for me too. I didn’t find I had any bad reactions to the medication which was good though.

It is different for everybody, and I know a lot of people have had great successes with clomid.

Before the clomid I was on letrozole for 6 cycles. 3rd cycle in and got bfp but sadly miscarried. After that, my body gave up on the letrozole unfortunately.

It’s now just under 2 years since I started the letrozole and I’m awaiting my 2nd ivf cycle to start mid November.
