IVF first scan water on ovary

Hi all. I had my first scan yesterday , day 8 of treatment. One ovary looked ok - only three follicles but i’m old so guessing this is yo be expected. On second ovary she said she could see fluid. She said it was strange as my blood test indicated there should have been lots of follicles.

She sent me away and said she would talk to the doctor and call me back.

They have told me to continue and they will see me Monday.

I feel worried and a little deflated. It’s so difficult not getting your hopes up.

Anyone else had anything similar?
