Bleeding 😢

Just been to the loo and there was blood when I wiped and more on my panty liner after about 20 mins. No cramps but I don’t think it’s looking good. Got to go to the walk in clinic now. Had mole removed this morning and they assured me the anaesthetic is safe but I think it may have done something or it’s a coincidence. 😢

Thank you everyone- the bleeding seems to have calmed down for now at least. Got an epu appointment tomorrow so presumably they’ll do a scan. Just keeping our fingers crossed and hoping for the best. Xxx

sometimes it happens when the periods should have been due and its frightening when you don't expect it but then everything works out as it should.

Fredaflinstones when did you have a transfer? I think you and me were a few days apart, it's 19dpt for me which makes me 5 weeks and 3 days today, I was bleeding exactly like you 2 days ago and went to hospital, the early pregnancy unit checked and did an internal scan, they found 2 sacs cooking away and have scheduled another scan in 7 days, because I was clotting too they assume I have lost one, but I'm hoping for the best, during my scan they said there is no ACTIVE bleeding and is the old blood that's coming out... so the first day each time I wiped it was red and the second day it was brown... both my drs here in U.K. And Cyprus said it was good news it turned to brown...

What about you? Has it turned to brown?

I think it’s turned to brown now and slowed right down. We had two transferred on 25 Sept so 5+5 today. I hope we find all cooking well too. Thanks for the info. Hope all continues well for you xx

Hi I went to th walk in centre and they got me an appt at EPU for tomorrow. I called my clinic and they said it’s good if the blood looks a bit brown now. Been checking and it seems to have stopped for now. I hope it stays away. Will let you know how tomorrow’s appt goes. It’s in the afternoon. Thanks again everyone for your well wishes. It means a lot xxxx

We had transfer same date and I had a bleeding in the morning at 5 weeks and brown spotting for 4 days on and off. My beta was good 😊 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 for us all!!!

Thank you ladies. It seems to have slowed right down overnight and just got the faintest of Brown blood when I wipe sometimes and a little bit on a pad. All in there wasn’t loads but still scary. Hoping for some positive news today from be scan this afternoon then going to take it easy. Am off work this week on leave at least. Xx

Keep us posted Freda. I had that at 8 weeks. Apparently it is common to have some bleeding when your period would be due. All was well with me and am now 15 weeks along.xxxxx

It was only when I wiped and a tiny bit on a pad. It was red and then brown. Good luck xxx

Wanted to update here too in case anyone is searching in future - we had two embryos transferred. We went for a scan at the EPU and thankfully we saw a little beating heart but one of the sacs was empty. The lady doing the scan thought it was likely that this was the cause of the bleeding. Hoping the little one keeps going. Thank you all for your support. Xxx
