Sorry for the TMI 😥

Please excuse the TMI ... after my embryo transfer yesterday I've had terrible diarrhoea this evening and stomach cramps 😥 I'm devastated I don't know whether it's something I've ate or the medication ? This hasn't happened to me before and now I have a really upset tummy :( I'm panicking it's going to affect implantation 😢

Hey hun

You poor thing! Try not to worry though! I was really ill with diaohorrea during my 2ww. It's the poorliest I've been in a very long time. It had me stuck in bed on one of the days. I still dont know what it was! Unfortunately I got a BFN but the consultant did say it would have had nothing to do with the diaohorrea. I've also read of girls who have had upset tummies and still got BFPs. Maybe you can contact the clinic out of hours? I didnt speak to the clinic but wish I had. Try and rest and drink as much water as you can. I hope you are feeling better very soon xx

Oh dear that's the last thing you need right now 🙈Could it be the progesterone suppositories if you're using them rectally? I think NMP1026 is right, maybe ring your clinic to ask if there's anything you can take to help with it? Rest up and drink plenty of water hopefully it will pass xxx

I had terrible diarrhoea after my transfer (tmi I know 🤷🏻‍♀️) I put it down to drugs. As bad as it was I still got a BFP on Wednesday so try not to worry too much. If it's causing you distress and to worry too much just ring your clinic.

Hope you feel better soon 💕💕

Make sure you don’t get dehydrated. Drink plenty of fluids. You won’t be able to take anything like Imodium but when I had it after my first bfp my doctor said isotonic drinks would replace lost electrolytes (like lucozade sport, still drink, it has no caffeine). He said if my symptoms persisted for more than 3 days I would need to take a sample in but by the third day I was much better xx

Thank you for your responses ladies. Feeling a lot better now, still a bit wobbly but it eased off yesterday. I think it's just the combination of hormones, nerves plus being pulled about down below a bit ... hopefully it hasn't done too much damage :) xxxx

I also had a touch of diarrhoea and really bad stomach cramps one evening towards the beginning of the 2ww and I also got a BFP. It could be your body reacting to medication or it could just be that time of year - there's a lot going round at the moment. Have some rest and make sure you drink plenty of fluids. Hope you're feeling better soon.
