Contraceptive pill and injections

Hi all!

I've been taking the contraceptive pill since the 13th September which was day 3 of my period. I've been asked to stop on the 5th, after 23 days. Is this to try and make my period start? It wouldn't normally start for 28 - 33 days though so I don't know if it will? I'll be starting menopur injections on oct 2nd, 4 days before I take the last pill. I'm confused as to why these dates for the injections and pill are chosen, can anyone advise me?! I'm going to be on a short antagonist protocol. I'm seeing the nurse on the 25th so will ask all these questions then but would be nice to take it all in from you experienced ladies first x
