Lab just called!! Worried!

So the lab just called (unexpected) to update us on our eggs! So apparently they have been a bit slow in growing since our call on Monday till now! He has suggested and discussed with consultant that they put two in today to give us a better chance! Briefly went over risk of twins but all I kept thinking is Oh God is this good or bad news they want to put two in?? My excitement has quickly turned into fear! They want us to come in earlier to discuss it all! I'm so worried now 😢 xxx

Thank you, I just wasn't expecting the call then being told two to be transferred! Sorry I'm just so new to this and suddenly finding it worrying! When we go in they discuss it further so I'll just try to stay calm till then xxx

I know this must seem worrying but try to trust them. I had a similar experience in my most recent ET appointment. However, they didn't tell us until I was prepared for transfer i.e. Naked from the waist down and in the transfer room. We had to make our decision there and then in front of everyone.

On your way, try to keep calm and be pleased that two are going back. I wish I'd had this opportunity because I didn't enjoy transfer at all. I just lay there thinking they've just told me my embryos are crap. I will always wonder if my negative thoughts and anxiety played a part in the cycle being unsuccessful.

I wish you a much better transfer than I had and will be praying for sticky embies for you. xxx

This cycle we had 2 put back, I have never done this before, and as I got pregnant in both my previous cycles was scared as I really did not want to risk twins with the complications for there health that comes with it. But like you our embryos hadn't developed as we had hoped, and the embryologist felt this was our best chance, well I got nausea early and was convinced both had stuck, but no just 1 health baby, so I would go with the embryologists advice they wouldn't be recommending it if they didn't think it gave you the best chance xx

As other have said it's understandable your worried but they want to give you the best possible chance. I've had 2 embryos transferred in both my FET cycles and just think there going back to where they 'belong' xx

Hey Robb , I understand your emotions ...your excitement , fear , anxiety and all . But my dear be strong and calm . Doctor know their work , the only thing you have to do is that you have to be updated with each and every action of them . Don't panic and all the best !!!!
