Good luck for the tww. Rest up, take light excercise. Drink lots of water. Read a book. Watch a box set. Go out on some day trips... xx
I am just over my 2ww! I won't lie the first week felt like forever but, once I got to the second week it actually went quite quickly just remember ...the day does finally come. I would say on what to expect..you will probably analyse every ache or cramp and wonder ..thats so normal. Try not to worry, listen to your body if you need to rest- rest. Or if you want to have a walk go for it. My consultant advised against my usual exercise routine so I just went for walks when I could during the wait. But, I guess every Dr has different views.
I actually asked on here what I could do to relieve the stress as I did get quite emotional (and moody) over the wait. Got some good advice.. download a calming ap, buy or borrow a puzzle and catch up on all the good box sets out there.
wishing you lots of luck hope you get a BFP in 2w!
Best of luck 🤞🏻🍀 xx
I'm also in the 2WW club and I'm really struggling to do anything differently. I'm usually walking really fast and run up and down the stairs. I tried to take things easy for the first day but now I keep forgetting to slow down. I'm back to my normal self, lifting and carrying everything as normal. I'm relying on prayers and I know whatever will be will be. Stay strong, we are both getting a BFP!!! xx
Hey I hope we get the positive result.
Did u have 1or2 put in?
Also how are u finding the progesterone???
Thanks so much. I had only one put back because I had fibroids removed in March so the clinic said it's better to have one back to reduce the risks associated with twins. How about you?
I'm absolutely fine with the progesterone and I'm also on Progynova which I'm also fine with. I don't feel any different. Are you getting side effects? xx
I'm having the progesterone injections and the actual injections don't hurt it's after it's soo painful like a big bruise.
I had 1 put back in aswell as it's the only one that fertilised.
Once they transfer in the uterus were does the embryo go if u have no tubes in a bit confused.?
Oh, I didn't get the injection. I use cyclogest pessaries which I insert twice a day into my back passage.
I'm not an expert but I'm guessing the embryo does not need to go anywhere else if it's already in the uterus which is where it will continue to grow for the next 9 months. The function of the Fallopian tubes is to transport the fertilised egg to the uterus but with IVF the fertilised egg is placed directly where it belongs so no need for the tubes.
Did you have your embryo glued? I had that done and I think it helps it stick to the uterus wall. xx
I listened to Zita West's visualisation for IVF CD every day. Helped me to relax and be positive about the outcome (I wasn't completely positive the whole 2WW but generally felt good) Its on Apple music if you have that or you can download it from iTunes. Also i took it easy but mostly went about my normal routine with work etc. Good luck!!! xx
They put it into the uterus so it doesn't need to travel in the tubes. Usually the egg/fertilised egg would travel down the tubes into the uterus. That's not needed where they put the embryo straight into the uterus. Over the next few days the embryo should attach to the womb lining and begin to nestle in. Good luck. Try to rest where you can and try to avoid googling every symptom. Xxx
Thanks for the replys I was worrying as I had 2 ectopics before.
