Prayers for you... I had a first attempt and successful IVF at Turkey (Medicana International) at the age of 42... My son is now 4-month old...
Ah best of luck. 🍀 hope everything goes well for you xxxxx
Good luck sanchia. Does it work out cheaper to travel for ivf?
Yes. For IVF with ICSI, medication and accommodation for three weeks is £3,300. My friend did ICSI here in the U.K. with a few other add ons cost her £8000.
Hello, that sounds like a really good deal. Out of interest do you have to buy a special travel insurance to cover you if (God forbid) anything goes wrong?
Good luck with your treatment but the way!!
Well specialist travel insurance to do a medical procedure was being quoted over £300. But I got regular travel insurance and added ivf as an existing medical condition along with my endometriosis
Thank you. I always wondered how that side of things worked. Much appreciated xx
What's your plans?
Well I'm currently 7wks pregnant after my 2nd cycle was a success but as it was my last nhs funded cycle if this doesn't work we will have to go private.
I think we'd go abroad as it's much better value than the uk. I always like to have plan a, b & c in place so I'm already researching foreign clinics. Plus even if this one is successful I might want a brother/sister for little one in the future.
Hi is this with a de? This is good to know x good luck
After a week on stims on a short protocol, 20 eggs were collected today. 😊
Embryo transfer done.
Good luck! 🤞 do you mind me asking what clinic you went to? And how you found the experience? I think we'l go abroad if this round doesn't work. X
I'll like to know the clinic please.
