I've done a silly thing out of pure desperation. I poas this morning at roughly 12dpo ( I've not been monitoring the exact times) Well, I had one pregnancy test left and I didn't need to pee as much as I thought. So, not to waste the test I put in the loo for the extra pee and a line came straight up!! Then when I wiped I had a bit of dark brown blood, like start of period.

Just wondering if it's an evap line as I thought they took a while to appear? It was within the time. I watched it get darker.

I've never had an evap before ( or fallen without ivf before either)

If i do another today would it still be acurate as not fmu ( this test wasn't either though). Help!!

hmmm. I'm not sure! Sorry!😮 its not evap with colour which yours does ☺ it would be colourless. , but there's always the danger if you've put it in the actual loo, that something's got in it to manipulate the result. But maybe the brown blood was a bit of implantation? I wouldn't be able to cope with that limbo if it were me, lol. My advice- give it a few hours to build up some decent urine, nip to chemist for a fresh test and do it in a clean cup so there's no second guessing!!

hope its your time! ❤❤❤❤

Thanks for the reply. I think I need to just wait a bit but I'm too impatient 😝 Going to chemist in a bit and will do a test later.

Thing is,I'm decorating my bathroom at the moment and want to know so I know if I'm stopping play or not. Just don't want to waste my day, lol. After being in this game for 5 years it gets tiresome and things like this just feel like "yeah whatever, am i in or out".

Just such a stupid thing to do to stick it in the loo 🤣. Haven't told hubby either as he's so busy at work. Don't want it to distract him until i know for sure. It just threw me with that line but as you say may just be chemicals in the loo interferring with the test. Oh the wait will drive me silly 😵 xx

Putting it the loo probably made it null and void. The urine would have been diluted due to all the water sitting in the bowel so for it to come up straight away would be suspicious that it's more chemicals in the loo.

How did you get on?? Did you test again? Xx

So I testes yesterday afternoon and bfn. The tests were from the chemist and do t say how high the hcg level.has to be though. Done one again this morning, bfn. Still no af. Was stupid to think I'll ever get a positive. Just really sucks. Period's now messed up thanks to laporoscopy and needing it to come to have blood tests done 😣. Just so fed up with it all.
