Dear Community

Some of you may have noticed (and reported) that we are having an issue with prolific posting by a few members of our community. We are in discussion with HU about the issue, but this means that our limited resources are being taken up by this matter, when they could be used elsewhere.

It is, however, important to us that we continue to make this a safe place where those affected by fertility issues can come together and support each other in a way that is respectful and honest. We will therefore continue to remove posts, restrict and ban users who do not adhere to the principles of the site.

Thanks Alison. I noticed it and it's been really distracting. I think it's different accounts from one spammer; mainly because the language is similar across all the posts and posts are really dramatic and vague in terms of actual treatment.

It's a shame and sorry your time is being used on this.

It's always so negative and multiple threads. We can all have down days but it just seemed a bit weird.

Phew, i was hoping I wasn't just being insensitive hoping this 'person' would go away! Clearly someone with way too much time on their hands and a sick sense of humour.

Thanks admins for your hard work in keeping this a lovely place to be. It's invaluable in our struggles x

I was thinking I was being horrible thinking the same thing! I felt it was distracting from the ladies who were looking for support for symptoms, treatment etc. I'm glad it's been flagged up xx

It was this morning that I realised the messages were practically identical to previous ones but a different name. Very strange but they didn't feel genuine .

You and the team are wonderful, thank you for all your hard work! Totally felt like a 'troll' at work with multiple negative, sometimes offensive posts. I appreciate the control you are exercising to prevent this sort of thing.

Hi and thank you. I had noticed but didn't want say anything in case it was a genuine person. It was v strange as was all the same theme and no specifics about treatment which is unusual for this forum. I don't quite understand the point of doing it but thanks for sorting it out. This forum is so valuable and important for people with genuine issues and concerns and questions xxx
