I have been diagnosed only lately with infertility... I have never checked myself to the doctors. I thought of myself as healthy, and I did live a healthy lifestyle. I used to eat healthy food, workout, do sports etc... It hit me very hard that I was ill, and with something like infertility, never would I had guessed this. I got the news and finally got used to it. I started to accept my fate. I was so shocked the first month that I didn't visit the doctor at all. Then as I said, I accepted it and decided to fight back! I go to the doctor and he told me that I could conceive through IVF, I said "Okay lets do it then." only to realize that it is illegal in my country. What the actual freak? I don't understand the reason behind this ban? I used to like my country, now, due to this, I hate it! What can I do? Is getting treatment abroad possible? Would it be illegal if I did IVF, somewhere else? I checked a bit online and it seems that you can do that. However I decided to come here and ask you guys for advice. I opened this account for this reason alone.

My country doesn't allow IVF

Yes, you can get IVF treatment outside your country. It won't be illegal and there is nothing wrong with it. Not only people from countries that IVF is illegal go to other countries for treatment. Actually a few days ago, I was reading a post form a friend here. She updated her state and mentioned that she is going to Ukraine next week for treatment. Don't give up on conceiving you eventually will, don't let anybody stop you from, at least, from dreaming. A lot of us here deal with infertility. A lot of people deal with infertility in countries where treatment is illegal. I've heard that Austria has such a law too. So keep your head up, you aren't the only one. If you really want something nothing can prevent you from getting it. Keep trying, and trying. I was told once that at the end, when you hold your kid in your arms, it all becomes worth it. That has kept me going for a very long while now. I wish you the best of luck on your journey. Don't let anything stop you!
Thank you for motivating me. Sometimes I feel like I will just give up... Somehow, a way or another I will always end up going on and on. I am stubborn by nature so, it wont be a very hard thing for me. Can I ask one more thing? What do you suggest me to do?
Your welcomed my lady. Well I haven't been dealing with infertility for a very long while. I am probably not the best person to get advice from! Let me just give you a few suggestions. Make a list of states where IVF is legal. England, USA, Sweden, Ukraine, Russia etc. Choose from that list places that you want to go, then choose places you can afford going. Start researching clinics in those places. Find one that suits you. Contact them, book. This might take a while though... There is so much content on this topic on the web, you'll find yourself browsing for hours. Remember however that your decision will play a key role on whether you conceive or not. Try it and see for yourself. I'm pretty sure you'll find some places that will interest you!
Ohh Jesus Christ this sounds like a hassle. You mentioned your friend had gotten herself a clinic or something did she happen to mention the name of the place? This will make it easier for me. I won't have to waste time to checking through piles and piles of Google sites.
You'd really do that? Ohh mio dio, I'd love that. Please do! Thank you a lot for your help man.
