Hi, I would try not to worry to much - I had an unsuccessful FET in April, my period was late in May (which it never is) but then early in June which put me back 'on track'. I think it's just our bodies re adjusting to everything x
I wouldn't worry. 5 days isn't much. After both failed rounds my periods needed medication to make them kick start again. I waited 2 months with nothing before they got me in to the clinic and prescribed something. I can't remember what it was now though!
very normal for this to happen its just your hormones slightly confused. Just keep and eye on it I kept calling the clinic with concern and they was telling me it was pretty normal, I was booked in for a scan to check that everything was all ok and I started my period a few days before, it took me 3 months to have a proper period after my failed ICSI bleed, don't worry you will have a period every body is different xxxxx
I had exactly the same failed round date as you! 😞 Period started a couple of days later. This month I was feeling super weird and bloated around day 21 of my cycle and used an OPK... it confirmed I was ovulating! So I now expect this cycle will be around 34-38 days in length (FF suggests ovulation on day 23 but not sure I believe it!!). Very likely you're just all out of whack while your body readjusts and all the meds finally leave your body... x
It is isn't it. I'm waiting to see with mine on timings for our next cycle... don't mind it being late, as long as it's late to the point I've calculated 😂🙈. x
Yeah I've know for years I had that but they never diagnosed until 2015! By which point it was all overt bowel. Not ideal 🙈 soldiering on and hoping we can use our frosty soon 🤞🏼 xx
Ah sorry Hun. I feel extremely lucky that we have the frosty. Good luck with your follow up next week! So many to ask isn't there. We've got our follow up the week after x
No it hasn't, did 2 clear blue tests this morning. Both positive. Spoke to my clinic.... scan next week! I'm in pure shock tbh. We've been trying 4yrs..... seems miracles do happen 😊✨ x
I know this is a very old thread, but I'm intrigued. In case you're still about, do you know how this happened? Was it that the ivf worked but didn't show up on the pregnancy test for whatever reason or that you conceived the month following the ivf? If so do you think it was the ivf hormones still in your body that helped it?
