Hello Hun, I think I was lucky , as I went to have my first doctor consultation in the middle of my cycle this month. Had all our test done that week( scan/bloods and nurse consultation). Also got my medication that week. My first injection was yesterday as i had to start my injection on second day of period. Sooo all in all took 2 weeks . I'm doing mild ivf if that makes a difference I really don't know also went private . 😘😘😘
Ahh okay yeah that is lucky as you got it all very quick!
Im hoping my periods have fallen in good timing as i am currently on, i have a appointment on thursday for a pre-treatment scan which needed to be done between day 4-8 of cycle. I am just hoping it all goes quick after the first proper consultation.
How did you find your first injection? are you on long or short protocol?xx
I got my partner to do my first injection I was acting like a big kid I couldn't do it. Felt sorry for him as . But I didn't even feel it and wasn't bad at all. I have to do my next ones on my own as partner works nights but I'm happy to do it now. I don't really no what protocol im on as I only have to take injections for next 10 days and have about 3 scans and if everything is ok I go for egg collection xxx
Haha i think that is how i will be as well but i will have to man up cos my partner doesn't like needles so i cant imagine him wanting to inject me! Oh yeah thats not to bad at all! best of luck xx
It's taken me 9 months from first going to the hospital doing all the tests and then my first consultation meeting. No idea how long until treatment but if your at the very initial stages I'd say at least 9 months to s year 😞
Hello thank you, i started quite a while ago now, ive got my first consultation on the 12th July and a pre-treatment scan on Thursday. Just wanted to know from after the consultation to the injections that part x
From gp to 1st appointment at the hospital it took around 6 weeks. So not too long for that. I had all the tests done in the 1st month. Longest wait for the nurse consultation to go through all the paper and set up the treatment plan which was at the beginning of may.
