Well this has been an interesting 24 hours! Egg collection yesterday resulted in a whopping 46 eggs from over 60 follicles.
Acute pain afterwards from the swelling. Loads of morphine. Not fun!
Onto the hospital (in an ambulance - very exciting!) who did some checks then discharged me. Finally got home at 10pm and was soooo looking forward to bed when my breathing felt tight and I started shaking uncontrollably. It would have been funny if it wasn't quite so scary!
Mr Llama phoned the out of hours nurse who told us we needed to get straight to A&E. I've never got through A&E so fast! Drips, catheters and monitoring through the night.
It looks like I either have OHSS or it was just the trauma from vast egg retrieval.
Still in hospital now waiting for blood test results. Hoping to get home at some point today!
So incredible grateful to all the amazing nurses who've been looking after me. Thank god for the NHS ♡

Holy moly!!!! 46 eggs I'm lucky to get 4!! However it sounds like you've absolutely gone through the mill to get them!! I hope you feel much brighter very soon xxxx
Yes it was swollen, couldn't zip my trousers, and I did get pain some times specially when I lifted something or walked. The swelling did go away after my period. Did the give you some painkillers to take home? cx
Wow that is the most I've heard here ! Surprised they didn't keep you in as I would say u defo have ohss with that many ! Hope you feel better ! Lots of rest and water and milk !
Hope you're feeling better. That is a hell of a lot of eggs! Hope they're are lots and lots of good ones that you can use/freeze so you don't have to go through it again! Good Luck x
Blimey oh Rilley!!! 46 eggs that's an impressive amount. Understandably with that amount you would be very swollen, and in pain so I really hope you make a speedy recovery and you feel better really soon, lots of bed rest and chill time for you lovely.
Can't wait to hear how many fertilise. Good luck Hun xxx
Oh wow!! That's amazing and I hope your little strong ones make it to freeze for you, I take it that they are letting your body de swell before putting them bk in?
Yes I'm doing ok thank you living this sunshine xxx
Yeah that's what they were going to do with me but went ahead with day3 transfer anyway which I was annoyed at, as I would have liked my body to have a chance to recover but never mind.
Sorry to hear you were rushed into doing the transfer. That's rubbish. There seems to be growing evidence that waiting and letting the body recover is much better, but I guess freezing and thawing is always a risk x
Yeah they wanted to put mine straight bk in to there natural environment as they weren't strong enough to freeze, so they had to put they straight bk in! Never mind. Xxx
