Eg collection done.

We are home form our egg colection day.

We got 10 eggs this time which is much better than the last time when we only got 3.

Slept for 5 hours this afternoon and not in to much pain thankfully.

Looking forward to the phonecall tomorrow from the embryologist to tell me how many have fertilised. 🏥🖒

Wow Jenkins that's s great number, well done! Do you mind me asking if you or the clinic changed anything this time to get the extra eggs? We got 8 last time and was told to expect less this time.

Hi. The clinic increased my dosages of injections. I was 0.5ml of buserelin then dropped that to 0.2 when we started merolin. We were only on 2 powders the first time which they increased to 3. This time we started with 5 powders from the start and things didn't need changing. Just waiting for the call now to see how many have fertilised. 😊why would they expect less. Have they changed you medication?

Hi Jenkins thanks so much for your reply. Our consultant said that it's typical for the best eggs to be taken in the first cycle and that often the most eggs are taken at that stage so I just made my peace with the fact that we'll get less. We were on 4 powders last time and started on 5 this cycle but was upped to 6 after first blood test 🙈 7 eggs fertilised is amazing!! Well done hope everything is still going well x x x

wow, that's great, 10 is good number, hope you'll have good fertilized ones.

we had less number of eggs and only 2 and 3 from 4 cycles were fertilized. Unfortunately, oe ivf didn't work for us, de is our next stage. hope it will work this time.
