Ive just been reading about when people test and it seems to be all clinics give different times, ive read for a 5 day transfer its 10 days and 11 for a 3. Just seeing what others were told? Im 10 days past tmrw but was given 11 days so confused as had a double blastocyst transfer xx

I think clinics all seem to work a bit differently. My clinic alway give the 14 days regardless of a 3 day or 5 day transfer. I think technically the 5 day transfer should show from around 9 days and even sometimes earlier and the 3 day a bit later. This is a handy little page to read which explains a bit more in depth.xx

Mine has also said only 1 HCG test at 14 days past 5 day transfer.

I think different clinics do different things. Fingers firmly crossed for you xx

Hopefully u will get them in time ive got enough to last till thurs morning and i usually go Asda for my meds as they cheaper and they take 2 days to get them in so the clinic havent planned it well as i will run out Im gonna call them up tmrw and see what they say xx

in reply toemu2016

Hey, was just reading through this - and I am quite sure your GP should be able to prescribe more pessaries if its just progesterone. Mine did, and i wasn't charged. That was the only contribution i had from the NHS.

I spoke to my clinic this morning they said i cant get them from a doctor as im a self funded patient and it has to be from them cos its ivf they wasnt much help tbh xx

in reply toRo5ie

Oh that's terrible but you could ask the Dr reception, just say you ran out and the clinic won't get them in time from clinic... worth a try. I was also completely self funded. The NHS just gave me a few weeks worth of top ups. I don't think its expansive so it may be easier to go through the clinic but there is no harm asking the Dr.

i was 12 days (5dt), isn't it something to do with the trigger shot - that they don't like you testing earlier? I can't remember but sure there was a good reason for it.

Oh and GP should be able to prescribe more pessaries, mine did.

I think so i was told the trigger can be in the system for upto 14 days i did mine 17 days ago xx

My last one was a fet so no trigger shot and test was 11 days later. It's odd how clinics seem to differ xx

Yea seems strange how its 11 days with or without trigger xx

I think it also depends if it's a urine test or blood test. You can detect earlier in blood. Mine was a blood test, 11 days after a 5-day blast transfer.
