Egg Collection Monday

When the nurse handed me a piece of paper saying egg collection Monday I got quite scared. Confirmed this afternoon that egg collection will be Monday morning.

Weekend of camping before but still anxious of this next step.

Any advice for day of egg collection.

I must admit before mine I was petrified. I've never had any kind of op before and didn't know what to expect and googled absolutely everything! But it was fine and you'll be fine. Everyone explained things so clearly and you get so well looked after. The worst bit was hanging around beforehand. EC itself was over so quickly and was painless. The nurse said if they feel you twitch because you're feeling something they'll just up your meds which is exactly what happened. I was fairly sore for about 48 hrs after but got by with paracetomol and hot water bottle. Good luck, as I say, you'll be absolutely fine and keep the end goal in mind!xx

Hey Love, relax and don't worry about anything. Your clinic will take the best of care of you and just look forward as the next stage of your journey to becoming a mum.

You will do great, a bit of discomfort afterwards for a day or 2 but more than worth it.
