Can't tell if spotting or AF!!

Hi lovelies, my body is confusing me. I stopped taking the pill yesterday and the next step is for me to start down regulation on the second day of AF. The only problem is I've been spotting for two week on the pill. Today the spotting is heavier (only slightly). I basically don't know how to tell if this is AF or a continuation of the spotting. Wish my body would cooperate and I knew what it's doing. Thanks for listening to me ranting about my spotting again xxx
