Out of 24 eggs, 20 where injected as 4 where immature and we got 14 fertilised. So we are cautiously happy and have been provisional booked in for a transfer on Wednesday xx

I know, no matter what numbers have been involved for me, & despite nearly 100% fertilisation in all my 5 cycles, every single egg has failed at day 3, & after 6 years of trying I wonder why on earth can't just one little egg work out of so many, sadly I know only too well numbers mean absolutely nothing. Just wanting to be positive for you but I know in reality numbers are just that, numbers, & no guarantees. Really hope more encouraging news comes at the next stage for you. X

Aw thank-you it's such an anxious time. Even if I get a bfp it will be with caution as I have had one before then lost it a week later. I am just happy taking each day one at a time a the mo and trying to remain positive. Hope your ok xxx

I know, I remember always saying to my partner that even if we miraculously got pregnant, I'm not sure the initial elation would last as long as it should as I would become utterly consumed with worry. I'm sure every pregnant lady must undoubtedly worry but it takes on a different slant when you've history of problems doesn't it. I've also got a chronic inflammatory illness & worry so much what kind of environment I can even offer a little baby to grow in. It scares me every day. The worry never ends does it. Taking each day at a time is very sensible, I've learnt the hard way not to jump for joy at different stages of IVF as u never know what's around the corner do you. Relax as best you can and I really hope this is your time. I find infertility one of the most utterly cruel things I have ever faced, and I have faced a great deal in life. Thinking of you and wish u all the very very best, I certainly didn't want to appear flippant at all in thinking just because you have good numbers it means something, really know it means diddly squat!! Good luck love x

That's great we had about the same numbers in January and we didn't get them to blast stage after 5 days so we had 2 put back in and we are almost 12 weeks pregnant with one lovely baby right now !!
