Hi everyone so I'm just wandering if any one can help, we've got to show our ID on next appointment I've just though that my passport has run out and my driving license is in my maiden name, should I change it into my married name or will it be fine as it has my picture and maiden name obviously on it?

ID in maiden name?
Hi I would take as much as you can just to be on safe side but I'm sure they will except the maiden name with picture I'd just take lots of household bills as well 👍🏽
Just take your marriage cert as extra proof x
I kept my maiden name but I thought if you did change it for marriage it needed to be registered and so would have an official document for the name change. Take that along with everything else and hopefully they can piece it all together. X
I take my marriage certificate with me. I need that hefty renewal fee to go towards treatment! 😉
I think if your ID is in your maiden name they will just register you in your maiden name. It has to match your ID.
It is free to update your details on your driving license.
If your passport was still in date you could still travel on it as long as flight is booked in that name.

I found this online: 'Direct Line previously found 3% of married women had an out-of-date name on their licence, which could also incur a £1,000 fine.'
You should be fine for this appointment but update it ASAP xx
Hello Tw1986, good luck on your journey everything of mine was still in my maiden name, it didn't cause any issues our clinic just registered me in my maiden name which didn't worry me as it didn't affect my treatment. We are now at the end of the journey and excitedly awaiting the guest appearance of the newest member of our family I hope everything works out for you x
i would just take as much paperwork as you can proving who you are and marriage certificate along with drivers license and expired passport x
