Hi everyone , just looking for someone reassurance. Had my positive result on Tuesday but this evening I have noticed a very slight light brown twinge when I wipe. I starting to panic. Is this normal? Has this happened anyone before ? X

Happened to me a lot various colours keep as calm as you can and try to stay positive it's hard and it is different for the everyone but it's certainly not a panic situation. Xx

Hey Hun. As long as it is not heavy bleeding and it's just spotting. If it continues, call your clinic and get a blood test just to put your mind at rest. Wishing you all the best my lovely. Xx

Thanks Nicola , do you mind me asking how far you were on when you were spotting? I'm 5 weeks and just worried is that too far on to have implantation bleeding as I read somewhere it happens earlier ? X

That's such lovely news Nicola and thank you so much for sharing has reassured me a lot. I have rang me clinic to be on the safe side. We were both just over the moon when we saw the positive result ! Was such a surreal moment. Needing to pinch myself , so I think that's why when I saw the brown I just thought/ thinking the worst X

I had heavy bleeding at 6/7 -like a period when I was pregnant with my now 18 year old son. I was told I was having a threatened miscarriage and I was prepared that I lost the baby-I was amazed and delighted to see a healthy baby at my scan! My sister also bled very heavy at 5 weeks and told the same as me-but didn't lose the baby-my niece is now 3 this month. Some women bleed in early pregnancy and still go on to have healthy babies πŸ‘Ά I hope the bleeding calms down as I know how worrying that is. X πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•

Hi. I've always heard that brown blood is old blood. Try not to worry yourself too much at this stage. Congratulations on your pregnancy x

I hope that's all it ever is, spotting. As many have told you in here though it doesn't mean anything bad; one of my best friends bled a lot through her pregnancy, bright red blood but the baby was fine. He's a very cheeky toddler now πŸ‘ΆπŸΌ x

I had bleeding and when I called the clinic they told me to increase the progesterone. Didn't stop the bleedin, though. I'd say it is definitely worth calling your clinic

I have had loads of bleeding and brown spotting since 5 weeks and I am now nearly 14! It can be totally normal as baby grows for some people, it's more common than you think! X

Thanks for your reply. It keeps getting heavier now that I'm convinced it going to be a full bleed by tonight. Just so worried / scared

So had a full on heavy bleed last night and this morning. Like a heavy period. Rang local midwives and they said there is nothing really they can do as we so early ( 5 and Half weeks). So it's looking like it's game over for us, just can't get my head around how cruel life can be, to get a your first positive pregnancy result ever and then a few days later to have your happiness crushed :( X

Pretty much, mine are always very very heavy so I wil admit this one isn't as full flowing as mine are usually but I wonder are my pessaries making it a bit more intermittent. It's full on red and least half filling a pad ( sorry for over share ) X
