How are you supposed to feel one day post EC? I had a scan this morning and they're fairly happy that all is ok despite me being borderline OHSS but I feel worse today than I did yesterday! My boobs are heavy but my left one in particular is painful; the muscles in my stomach feel sore, tender (almost pulled or bruised). I can't get comfortable. Paracetamol isn't helping much. I mentioned all this at the scan this morning and they said it's due to the hormones and after effects of drugs, scans and EC

I've always had a general with my collection so generally feel groggy.

The progesterone can make your boobs sore and obviously your body has been prodded and poked.

You need to make sure you are still drinking your 2 litres of water a day throughout this time.

Get plenty of rest X

Aaah hon it sucks doesnt it I felt really rough after both mine, even sure to pee, having a number 2 was a nightmare.

Plenty of paracetamol

Before implanting I used ice pack and heat

Ginger and lemon is good for pain too

You've been pushed and pulled around

Thank you so much. It's so hard to describe how I'm feeling to OH. Even though my scan was ok today I keep panicking about OHSS because I'm at higher risk (I had a lot of follicles) I just keep worrying that they'll grow instead of shrinking. I thought I'd feel so much better physically after EC but sadly I don't 😕 X

Aaah I know, I thought, surely once all the egg weight is out it'll be better but as you rightly said, you had lots. Each one is an injection to get out.

I did both my ec without anaesthetic, in spain, it's the way it is.

Very painful and with the added bonus of watching it on the screen.

It's called a punción

I had ohss and was told to eat 6 egg whites daily, drink 2 litres of sports drinks and take protein powder. The more protein the better you recover.

It's a horrid procedure and takes time for your body to recover.

Be honest with the team, if you don't feel right freeze then. Alot of studies promote freezing over fresh.

NOT brave hon, no option, fighting for a general this time, can't do it again without. It's a lottery who gets it and who doesn't. All down to money😥
